In February 2026, I visited the Mangyan village of Lucutan in Mindoro, Philippines — and saw children without regular meals, families in extreme poverty, and kids with no clear path to school. I couldn't unsee it. One month later, Rock Mountain Foundation was born.
Today, at International Baptist Church in Minolo, Mindoro, seven children live full-time in the dorm — six girls and one boy — receiving three meals a day, Bible teaching, and round-the-clock loving care while attending the local elementary school. Rock Mountain Foundation is one of the supporters of this ministry, helping with the children's schooling costs and the supplies they need to attend.

When Rock Mountain Foundation began, the Mangyan village of Lucutan had no church building of its own. In 2026, we funded the construction of Mountain Rock Baptist Mission — a pavilion-style church built for about $1,800, raised by local hands as an outreach of International Baptist Church in Minolo, under Pastor Charlie Lizaca. Today it's more than a place of worship: it's where the village gathers, where children are fed and taught, and where the Gospel is preached.
